About the 2nd Annual 100 Mile Diet Challenge

Why join the 100 Mile Diet Challenge?

How to Get Started
Find your 100 mile radius. Go to http://www.100milediet.org/map/ and draw a circle with a 100 mile radius around your house
Plan your meals using only food grown and produced locally, making exceptions for anything you can't live without (coffee, tea, chocolate...)
Join the challenge- try it for one day or one meal if you’re not ready for a whole month
Tell us about your experience with the 100 Mile Diet on the Times Union Eat Local blog

What Will We Be Doing?

Posting a list of where to buy foods grown within 100 miles of the Albany area
Promoting area restaurants that serve locally grown and produced foods
Linking to the Times Union Eat Local blog so you can report your experience with the 100 Mile Diet
Speaking about the 100 Mile Diet, food, energy and the environment (contact Cheryl
